So, firstly, the rooms are luxurious and we had the best stay of our entire trip... the food is exotic and the hospitality is very professional... i even sprained my back at the trip ad Mr Sharma arranged a doctor and even a driver to take ma back to Chandigarh... i highly recomend this place and trust me, its immensely beautiful... i am now planning to come back there again... love it...
Great place with amazing views, especially at golden hour. The manager, Mr. Thakur is a great host and makes sure everything is to your liking. Mr. Sunil and Suraj, the estate helpers are just too helpful! The food is great, the dal is a must try. There’s a gazebo that overlooks the valley where you can chill and socialise with other guests.
We stayed at three of Banjara’s properties; Thanedar, Sangla and Jispa. We loved all three properties. The hosts are very warm and welcoming. The food across all three locations was delicious. Across all properties, we felt like we hadn’t spent enough time. There was a personal touch that cannot be found in 5-star properties. Each property is an experience in it’s self. A huge shout out to Mr. Srinivasa. Mr. Srinivasa helped organize our stay across all properties. He also helped us get a car for our tour. Words cannot do justice to how much we enjoyed our stays and how grateful we are to Banjara for making this trip (Spiti/Lahaul) a memorable one. Thank you !
Thanedar: The property is beautiful. The owner, Mr. Thakur is very nice to talk to. He helped us maneuver a situation with a landslide. Our problem had become their problem.
Sangla: The property is beautiful. A big thank you to Captain Sud for the lovely conversations and for generally making us feel so much a home. Views at the property are beautiful.
Jispa Gemoor Khar: The property is nice. The rooms are equipped with heaters and hot water. Food is good.
Banjara resort at #thanedar is a great property to enjoy the mountains with your family and friends. Great location (surrounded by apple and cherry orchards), well maintained and large rooms and yummy food- everything you need to chill out for a few days.
They've got the most elaborate bonfire setup that I've seen at any property so far. Loved the food, especially the veg tandoor platter, bread pakoras and the pahadi apple chutney.
One had to walk down a flight of stairs to get to the property. This wasn't an issue with us at all but something to keep in mind if you're traveling with folks with mobility issues.
It’s so Beautiful Hotel and Location that In One Trip on Sangla / Baspa Valley Tour we Stayed here Twice , while Going and on Return Journey ! Nice Location to take a Break! This place is different from the usual resorts. If you are interested in spending a quiet vacation taking things as they come with no noisy neighbours this is it. Food is very, very good. The staff prepare fresh food..Try the local dish Sidhu which is typical mountain folks local food. Apple juice comes from their own orchard. Rooms are big and spacious. View from the rooms are beautiful...They open to view of the valley...
Just wow!!! Gone in Apr... Apple blossom were out. It had a magical feel. Food is okay. But the ambience and the scenery made up for it
Off beat place. Excellent view from the hotel. Rooms and amenities needs improvement. Services are good.
